Vailly Aviation Typhoon Plan

The Vailly Aviation giant scale Hawker Typhoon plan set is 1/5th scale and clearly illustrate all structure as well as showing installation of flaps and retracts. Full size templates are also shown for all ribs and formers. HOLK RC also provides the laser cut short kit for this model as well.  Primary construction shown in the plan set are light plywood, balsa and spruce using convetional building techniques and materials. All structures are built-up and sheeted with balsa. The 97" Typhoon uses 5.5 inch diameter wheels and a 1/5th WW2 pilot figure.  No foam is used what-so-ever in this plan. The main accessory parts available are a fibreglass cowl, cea plastc canopy, formed plastic elevator and tailwgeel opening shrouds, formed plastic landing gear door liners and cannon shrouds, dummy exhausts stacks and formed aluminium spinner with macines aluminium backplate are also available through HOLK RC. The "Car-Door" style canipy is also available.
