SBD Dauntless Short Kit by Ziroli

This is the Short kit for the Ziroli SBD Dauntless. This short kit consists of a complete set of laser cut balsa and plywood formers and ribs as laid out on the plans which will enable to construction of this model. 
 
Another of the great WWII warbirds, the SBD is well known for it's ability to dive, nearly vertically, to drop it's 1000lb bomb on enemy targets. Launched from our carriers the SBD was key in defeating the Japenese Navy at the Battle of Midway. The detailed plan set consists of five large sheets which clearly illustrate all structure as well as showing the unique dive brake/flap and retract installation
 
This short kit does not include the plans, fibreglass cowls or canopy, these can be purchased separately from us. This item includes all of the plywood and balsa formers and ribs that are required to build this model.
