$95.00Price

This is the plan set for the 33% Jilles Smits Goevier. The plan set includes 5 plan sheets that clearly show the construction methodology and construction requirements.

As with all of Jilles Smits designs this model is extremely easy to build and flies amazingly well. This is another of the Jilles Smits range of fantastic gliders.

The short kit is available seperately for this model.

The full-size glider is a German Göppingen Gö 4 or Goevier sailplane of the late 1930s used for training pilots. Its most notable features include side-by-side seating and dual controls, making the plane ideal for use as a trainer. It boasted average performance, compared to other gliders of the day, and was advertised as making the process of learning to fly sailplanes easier.

The Goevier V-1 made its first flight on 30 November 1937 piloted by Heinz Kensche. Production began at Göppingen the following October.
