Hostetler Cessna 195 (25%) Plan

The Wendell Hostetler giant scale Cessna 195 plan is 25% scale and consists of 2 large sheets that clearly illustrate all structure as well as show installation of servos and landing gear. The basic structure use conventional modelling tools and materials such as balsa and plywood. The building techniquies required are straight forward and easily accomplished by anyone with previous model building experience.

The plane can be flown gas or electric (1600 to 2400 watts) without any structural modifications. A full sheeted fuselage and tail feathers are shown on the plans with an option for cap strips on the ribs or a full sheeted wing.  An aluminum tube is sued for the full cantilever two piece wing.

The Cessna 195 Businessliner is a light single radial engine powered. conventional landing gear aircraft that was manufactured by Cessna between 1947 and 1954.  The 195 model was also used by the United States Air Force, United States Army and Army National Guard as a light transport and utility aircraft under the designations LC-126/U-20. A total of 1180 aircraft were manufactured.
