The Wendell Hostetler giant scale A-36 Beech Bonanza short is 27% scale and consists of laser cut formers and wing ribs as set out in the plan set.  The basic structure use conventional modelling tools and materials such as balsa and plywood. The building techniques required are straight forward and easily accomplished by anyone with previous model building experience.

 

The plan for this short kit is also available through HOLK RC. This short kit can take up to 3 weeks to be dispatched as this item is cut upon sale. If you have any questions please contact us.

 

The Beechcraft Bonanza was introduced in 1947. Since then more that 17,000 aircraft have been produced in all variants.  It was designed by a team led by Ralph Harmon, The model 35 bonanza was a relitely fast, low wing, all aluminum design, at a time what most light aircraft were still made of wood and fabric. The prototype made its first flight on December 22 1945 and received airthworthiness certificate on March 25 1947.
